We are looking for a shift technician in Helsingborg!

About the role

As a Shift Technician, you are responsible for ensuring that our client's production operates optimally during your shift. You work independently and are expected to prioritize, manage, and solve technical problems on your own. The role includes both emergency troubleshooting and planned preventive maintenance, as well as documentation in the maintenance system Maintmaster.

You work closely with operators and other technicians and report to the Technical Coordinator/Team Leader.

Your main responsibilities

• Emergency troubleshooting & diagnostics

• Independently troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve machine and automation faults

• Deliver quick and sustainable solutions to minimize downtime

Documentation & reporting

• Report completed maintenance, fault causes, and spare parts in Maintmaster

• Ensure good data quality that contributes to learning and improvement

Prioritization & planning

• Assess incoming work orders and emergency interventions

• Perform preventive maintenance according to plan

Independent work

• Act as the sole technician on shift and make decisions under time pressure

• Follow safety regulations and actively contribute to a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Technical experience in mechanics, control technology, and pneumatics

• Documented automation competence including troubleshooting, control and drive systems, and sensors

• Experience working shifts in an industrial environment

• Experience with maintenance systems, and it is a plus if you have previously worked in Maintmaster.

Working hours:

Morning shift: Monday - Friday 07:00-15:30

Afternoon shift: Monday – Thursday 15:20-23:25, Friday 15:20-21:30

We are looking for someone who is:

A problem solver, you analyze quickly and act effectively. We prefer that you are self-driven and take initiative, pushing your work forward. In this role, it is important that you are structured and methodical – especially under stress and during troubleshooting.

You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have a good ability to understand documentation and communicate in English. A driver's license and access to a car are required for travel to and from the workplace.
